---------------------------------------------------  ---------------------------------------------------  --------------------------------------------------- SURVIVAL KIT is a long-term artistic and educational experiment undertaken by students of the Athens School of Fine Art (Ανώτατη Σχολη Καλων Τεχνων) and the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, München with the participation of invited artists, lecturers and institutions. At a time when the horizon inclines under the aspects of the crises, artistic research and collaboration allow to open new perspectives. The aim of SURVIVAL KIT is to develop a shared theoretical understanding alongside sustainable infrastructures through concrete artistic exchange, research, and practice, positing new possibilities for a common future. Sublime Satanic Molotov Naming The SpaceI came into consciousness before I came to be into space. A sense of confirmation, to find a place in space. A space in place. A sense of unspoken satisfaction. I cannot be whole, unless I am a clear physical manifestation. It was, admittedly, quite spasmodic, at first. Quite loose. Quite abstract. -The physicality of the whole thing, that is. Cold and empty, generic space. Paint over paint. Dust over dust. Name over name. Postnovabanka was dismissed quite fast. Blinked. Opened my eyes to see that I had received an e-mail. "We now have a name". I must have missed a meeting in between. (Gaps in time). We are finally official. |
